Now that the Stockholm City Library (as of today monday) has opened its first city library branch ever inside a subway station, i.e. inside the underground ticket hall of Stockholm’s Östermalmstorg station, it is possible to get a really close look at some of the ceiling details of the original architecture, especially of the intricate geometry of the (originally very tall, freestanding) concrete columns' beautifully designed capitals.
