Bromma Towers

Five cylindrical housing towers on the corner of Bällstavägen and Spångavägen, Bromma, Sweden. Architect: Stockholms stads fastighetskontor, Husbyggnadsavdelningens arkitektbyrå, Stockholm, Sweden, 1952.

None of the original design’s small bedsit apartments remain today. They have all been turned into fewer but larger apartments, all with fully equipped bathrooms and kitchens. Elevators have been installed in all five apartment towers. The exteriors have not been changed, however. Typical vertical section and original floor plan from the public archives of the Stockholm planning department.
